At the beginning of 2011 NXDATA joined the International Data Centre Group alliance (IDC-G). IDC-G is a global professional alliance oriented towards providing carrier-neutral-data-center services. The alliance`s founding principle was to globally provide high end data centre services through a network of owned and partner data centers. NXDATA is the tenth member of the IDC-G alliance, emphasizing both its strategic place in the market and the quality of service NXDATA guarantees.
The InterLAN Association engaged NXDATA`s services since 2007. InterLAN is a professional alliance that gathers most of Romania`s internet service providers. The InterLAN Association runs a traffic exchange infrastructure for its members. Currently, in 2012, InterLAN holds in NXDATA-1 100Mbps/1Gbps/10 Gbps capacity ports, by means of which NXDATA`s customers have access to InterLAN-IX, one of the two important Romanian internet exchanges.
NXDATA-1 hosts one of RoNIX`s interconnection nodes. The RoNIX Internet Exchange is a national infrastructure that sustains traffic exchange between access networks belonging to the main Romanian ISPs, in other words, a network of Internet Exchange nodes, whose gradual development is one of ANISP`s (The National ISP Association) main objectives. The project`s final target is to connect the access platforms of all main Romanian ISPs, in order to ensure transparent inter-network traffic routing, according to reglemented and legally based procedures.
